About the Project

The 5Star Single Moms Project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to support single mothers by equipping adult educators with psychological (cognitive) and social (technological) tools. The project integrates innovative training methods to enhance the skills of adult educators, enabling them to assist single moms in overcoming major life stressors such as divorce, social isolation, and financial difficulties.

Our primary goal is to develop the competencies of adult educators working in institutions that provide social and psychological support to adults. By integrating gamification, digital learning, and multi-sensory approaches, the project aims to create a structured support system for single moms across Europe.

Why This Project?

• Single moms face significant challenges, including financial difficulties, social isolation, and increased childcare responsibilities.

• They are more likely to experience psychological distress, anxiety, and depression than married mothers.

• Adult educators often lack updated methodologies and tools to effectively support single moms.

• This project bridges the gap by providing educators with modern, research-based approaches to assist single moms in education, emotional well-being, and social inclusion.
